Continuing Professional Development 

Principal Officers maintain and nurture their skills and competencies through various activities. As a recognised professional body, Batseta is required to a CPD programme to Principal Officers within the retirement fund industry.

CPD Hour Requirement

The CPD Cycle is 1 March to 28 February each year

 

Principal Officers must complete 20 hours of CPD in each annual reporting. 

​

Principal officers must complete 20 hours of continued professional development during each annual reporting in order to retain their designation.

 

a. Chartered Principal Executive Officer (CPEO): 20 CPD hours per reporting period.

b. Associate Principal Executive Officer (APEO): 20 CPD hours per reporting period.

CPD Activities​

  • CPD activities could be both informal and formal (Examples include, webinars, conferences, readings, workshops, skills programmes, full qualifications, short courses, self-study)

  • There should be a blend of activities
