REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: APPOINTMENT OF A PRINCIPAL OFFICER, SACAA PROVIDENT FUND
The SACAA Provident Fund (“the Fund”) is a defined contribution provident fund established for eligible employees of the South African Civil Aviation Authority. It is registered under the Pension Funds Act, regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and tax-approved by the South African Revenue Service. The object of the Fund is to provide benefits to members on retirement and on other life contingencies in accordance with its Rules.

SOUTH AFRICAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY PROVIDENT FUND REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL INVESTMENT CONSULTING SERVICES
The South African Civil Aviation Authority Provident Fund (the Fund) invites suitably qualified, independent investment consulting firms to submit proposals for investment consulting services. The appointment is intended to strengthen the Board’s investment decision-making, governance, monitoring and member outcomes while maintaining clear accountability between the Board, investment consultant, administrator, platform provider and asset managers.
The successful bidder will be expected to provide advice that is evidence-based, proportionate to the Fund’s circumstances and capable of practical implementation. The investment consultant will advise; the Board retains its statutory and fiduciary decision-making responsibility.
