Alexander Forbes Retirement Fund – Independent Alternate Trustee Vacancy
The Alexander Forbes Retirement Fund seeks an Independent Alternate Trustee for a developmental role. The board includes three sponsor-appointed trustees, three independent trustees, and alternates. This position aims to further the board's transformation and expand umbrella fund expertise. The fund holds over R115 billion in assets for over 335,000 members.

Tender Advertisement: Trustee Election Services for PRASA Provident Fund
The PRASA Provident Fund (PPF), a defined contribution fund with approximately 12,300 members nationwide, invites proposals and quotations for conducting trustee election services. The scope of services includes managing physical nomination and balloting processes for two separate election cycles scheduled for September/October 2024 and January 2025, with similar data and economies of scale. Service providers must manage communication, nomination, election materials, and be present at various employer offices for both processes. Duties also include counting nominations/ballots, dispute mediation, and providing comprehensive reports.
Evaluation Criteria:
Technical Proposals: Highlight your expertise and experience in electoral services.
Price: Quote fees on a rand basis, including VAT, with a detailed cost breakdown.
BBBEE/Empowerment: Provide your approved BBBEE rating.

POSITION: DEPUTY PRINCIPAL OFFICER
This Request for Proposal (“RFP’’) is being issued by the Electrical Contracting Industry Pension and Provident Funds (Reg: 12/8/4730/1 and 12/8/36330/1) to request proposals from qualified individuals to provide Deputy Principal Officer services. The role covers the statutory duties as prescribed in the Act (as amended and/or replaced from time to time) and any other duties as agreed to by the Board.
